Pumpkid's News

Posted by Pumpkid - August 21st, 2013

As of right now (or two years ago), I'm considering this account dead. But I have some good news:

Once I move into an apartment towards the end of the month, I plan on making a new Newgrounds account, which I'll be sure to post once it's created. From there on out, expect (hopefully) some actual flash animations, including a dramatic reading of DIGIMON VZ RIVAL!, a music video for From Under the Covers (as composed by The Beautiful South), and a non-canon fan flash series, The Arclight Family!

See you then, everyone!

...Actually, I made this just about a few days ago. But I do have a new Blogspot, which you can check out here: link

Here, you can get updates from yours truly about any fan fictions, flash games, or flash movies I plan on making! You can also check out the weekly-updated "RiffTube"--the first one has been posted!

I hope you all enjoy what you see (more will come, I assure you)! :D

Hey, guys. Sorry for the delay in the lack of new news posts. Just didn't have anything on my mind all this time...

Not until now, that is.

Anyway, it has been one year since the untimely death of Andrew Paone, a.k.a. RaymsCreator. For those of you who have no idea who he is, he was famous for creating one of the many Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Abridged Series, as seen on YouTube. And for those of you who have seen such many abridged series, you'll remember that they all sucked. Badly. But not Andrew's; I've heard that his own series was one of the most talented series ever made.

Unfortunately, on July 28, 2009, Andrew Paone--a.k.a. RaymsCreator, creator of one of the most talented Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Abridged series on YouTube--died in a scuba diving accident. If you want further details, I suggest you read this article.

Anyway, here was the very last episode of his online series, before his untimely death:

Andrew Paone, if you can hear me in Heaven, then I'll have you know that although I wasn't much of a fan of your videos, I have the very heart to say that you will indeed be missed, never forgotten, and your videos will be remembered in the hearts of millions.

Rest in peace, dude.

On August 16, 2009, I made a review for sunshinedafox's Carmelldansen Clock flash. But this review wasn't any ordinary flash review, you see...

It was my HUNDRETH FLASH REVIEW! =O

Man, I can't believe that I managed to get to 100 flash reviews already! But seriously, everyone; I didn't do this just to get into the top 50 (whatever that is, anyway); I did it because... um... uh... Okay, so I don't know why I do flash/music reviews; I just... do, in a way...

Still, you should all be congratulating me for getting this far to 100 flash reviews! =) Who knows where this might get me to (and for those useless [EFF!]head members out there, no, this doesn't mean I did all this for nothing)!

Oh, and in other news today...

HOTDIGGEDYDEMON WAS ROBBED! >=O

OHMYGOODYGOD 100 REVIEWS ALREADY?!

You know, I've been seeing some flash animations/games on this site (mostly by sunshinedafox); and truthfully, even I have to admit that most of the ones I've seen aren't the best ones I've seen. But at least I don't think they deserve such unfair scores...

Unlike you heartless people...

Seriously; people like him have been working so hard on flash movies/games; and how do you repay their creators? Do you give them constructive criticism? Do you tell them what they disliked in a mature way? Do you actually give good reasons on why you didn't like such flashes? NO! Instead, you abuse them by giving such worthless reviews that they can't understand! But what's important is that you act like complete assholes when the rules forbid you to do so! I mean, come on; what is up with that?!

You know, it comes to my attention that most of the reasons why you gave such worthless reviews (and acted immaturely when doing so) on flashes like sunshine's, par example, is mostly because you all "hate SpongeBob and Sonic". Even I kind of have to admit that I'm not much of a big fan of SB or Sonic myself; but that doesn't mean I totally hate both series! Plus, I don't see what the big deal is is SB or Sonic, anyway!

In other words, if all you guys are ever going to do is just abuse people who have worked VERY HARD on their flash works for NO APPARENT REASON, then maybe you should get off this site and go to a place like 4chan or something (whatever that is, I dunno)...

Kthnxbye.

God, has it been a while since I've posted something new around here... sorry for the delay, everyone. :(

Anyway, now to get serious...

In one of my posts, Chdonga suggested that I stay away from forums unless I'd "intend to be gay". And in another one of them, aninjaman told me that the forums were actually fun. However, when I responded to both of their comments comments, they were both the same comment I put on one of this guy's news posts:

I'm not that much into forums.

However, I don't know why I'm not that much into them... I guess that I just don't see the appeal to them...

Hi. I'm Pumpkid, and this is my first time here on Newgrounds.

I joined Newgrounds because this place looks real interesting. You know, with all the cool flash and stuff. But I mostly came here because I wanted to compliment on Myroid's Millie 5 game (when it comes out, of course), which I was really excited about because of its cool features. I'll also compliment on other authors' flash work (in which I'll give my honest opinion on it).

I hope I have fun on Newgrounds! :P
